The Target Ski Revolution...

 I don't know if y'all are aware of it.. but there is a revolution goin on on Instagram... and it all started with who else?? lizmarieblog.com!!! she put these Target skis on her Christmas tree and now I am seeing them all over the internets.... here is her pic...

on another front... I got this blanket at Goodwill for 12.99... Look at the Target pice... right??? 

Pregnancy ruined my blog:(

Not my own of course... other people's.... it seems that everyone that is to the right of this post is pregnant... 75% of the bloggers I follow are pregnant..now I'm not a big humbug about having a baby.. having a baby is great... but when you're a blogger and you get pregnant, your blog becomes  the "pregnancy blog".... and its all about how your baby is as big as a kumquat, or you're craving pickled beets, and you can only sleep on your back... blah blah blah.... its great if you're pregnant, but if you're not... notsomuch..... so I go uninspired.... uninspired in a big way... I had to take the month off... I wasn't depressed or anything... I was just sick of seeing these pregnant bellies!!! So I went on instagram and did alot of my pics there.... Heres what I've been up to this month.....
1.

First and foremost... HUBS GOT A JOB!!!! but the good with the bad... Jack got into a fender bender... noone was hurt and hubs old car is totaled.. we only had liablity and the car is OLD... it may be a loss.... so he got a new car!!!  A Ford Escape... nice right??/

2. 

 I have joined the "mad for plaid" revolution... I got this runner at Marshalls, but I've been finding GREAT deals at Goodwill.. Here are just a few.....

I got the little shelf .. this dresser was getting stale with what was on it...

I got this great wreath... white 

 I got this for 2.99... it was bare wood and I painted it... not I can use it to hand scarves and necklaces and stuff...

There was #showmeyourscale on instagram... so I found this sups cute pig... he called out to me at Goodwill.....

Now..onto what we've been watching:

1. Flesh and Bone (Starz) If you l iked "Black Swan"... this is the show for you!!!! it shows the gritty gritty life of a ballerina....... it is kind of like "Black Swan" meets "Flashdance"... but GOOD!!!!

2. Master of None (Netflix) I watched the whole series on Friday night... super cute.... all my millenials will love it....

The Amazing Race:  is back... we're on ep. 5... loving it!!!!

"Beasts of No Nation" (Netflix) if you have not seen this movie which is a netflix original... you NEED to!!! It is a gritty, no nonsense view of life in a child army....

What I've been reading: 

This is a good book so far...I'm about 1/4 through it... long.. but I think it will pay off...

So thats about it... no pics of me... but my dad my number one fan, assures me that my pics are not needed... hope hes right... have a lovely day my friends.....
