I showed my girl Leah yesterday and she was so mad and said she looked bad.. as if!! But today she has pulled it together and posed... Now I have all kinds of potential guest bloggers coming... even of the male persuasion!!! Here is the new and improved posed Leah and me strategically hiding my cold sore...

The cold sore... continues....

I had a meeting with bigwigs today so I had to dress up.. no jeans... and the scarf hides all of the things I want to hide.. I'm having my friend Tim take my pics this week and I'm recruiting all of my teacher friends to show off their outifits on this blog as well as me.. I"m off now to sneak a picture!!!

I have a HUGE cold sore so I cannot be seen... but I did post my outfit... I am recruiting my fellow teachers have agreed to stand in for me this week.. me today.. Leah tomorrow...I am also including my table that I got in the 20.00 challenge and the mirror I got for 25.00 at Salvation Army

100 Days of School!!!

its 100 days of school!! All day its 100...We started by singing over the intercom a hundreds day song that went with "Its a Small World".. then we had centers all morning revolving around 100 making a 100 bead necklace and a 100 day crown with 100 stickers... What a great day!!!

Barnes and Noble.. my third home

If Goodwill is my second home.. Barnes and Noble would be my third... I have ordered countless upon countless desserts from this bakery case..most recently the vanilla cupcake which tastes homemade.. a friend of mine was concerned that the Promenade would close due to lack of business.. not possible.. if I have to order many more cupcakes to keep this establishment open... than thats what I'll have to do....

Ok.. I did the 20.00 thrift store challenge.. I went to the Salvation Army in Downers Grove...I saw these FABULOUS leather chairs for my dining room that were 65.00, but DID NOT get them because it was the 20.00 challenge!!! So heres what I DID get...

Yay!! Its Friday!! and Payday!!! I was supposed go on a month long shopping halt, but Monday is 100's day and I had to get stickers for 100's day crowns so I may as well just go to Goodwill right??? I deliberately picked February for the ban because its the shortest month and to test myself if I am addicted to Goodwill and I think I am. heres what I got...

This is a whole bin of race cars for my inside recess... having this will give me HUGE leverage in behavior....

I got the tree at Goodwill.. not the dog....
